it gives you freedom.

Posting this quote after yesterday's quote is kind of strange. It has a bit of a negative touch, but I also see it positive. The attitude that the world will never change is kind of bad. But as it says in the quote that's at the same time the reason why you can do and say what you want which leads to yesterday's quote:
Don't make your life complicated because the world will never change and that's why you should relax and do and say whatever you want.
Ha! Take that! ;)

I found out in Italy that my mom seems to have quite an eye for photography. I'm surprised. I love this picture for example. She took it and she took quite a lot good pictures of me. It's great that there's someone in the family who can take good pictures of people. My brother, dad and I hate taking pictures of people and we don't have any talent for it...

subway people. part 2.

Nobody can stop me from being creepy. It's way too much fun.

Love this style. And this girl could draw...wow. (took it on the train, not the subway)
Nothing better than a guy reading a book on the subway.
The age of this woman? Probably 75...dressed too young? nope, it looked fantastic on her.
Absolutely fantastic. I would never wear it, but this girl definitely knows how to dress.

P.s.: Is anybody wondering what happened to this "I post my daily outfits" thing? Well, I don't know what happened to that...that's how I rule. I always start doing things and never finish them. Sorry.

P.p.s.: If you find yourself in one of these pictures (who knows who finds my blog...) and don't want to be seen here, just tell me and I take the picture down.

don't make your life so complicated

I've already posted this picture, but I like the combination of this photo and this quote so I decided to post it again. And there's something true about this quote. We tend to make our life much more complicated than it is. Not only the own life. Sometimes people and if you think about it twice probably even you make other people's life complicated.
Being on vacation made me feel free and let me forget all the problems and bad things. It made everything less complicated (beside the fact that my parents were really complicated when it came to what we're going to do and organizing things...haha...).

moon.

I love the sunset at the beach. Sunrises are pretty too, but I like sunsets best. I love to watch the sun "falling" into the ocean (sadly the sun didn't fall into the ocean in Lignano...it fell into some hotels...), see how everything calms down and turn dark. I love the night and I love the sky at night.
That's why I like sunsets more than sunrises. When the sun rises everything is getting loud, bright and hectically...

I decided that I'm not going to a post just about Italy. Instead I'm going to post picture/quote posts from Italy. Like this one here.

not so serious moments

If it's not fun, you're not doing it right.

Details

I have to apologize for not writing posts at the moment. I just DO posts. There's a difference for me.
Writing posts is sit down, think, write, publish.
Doing a post is grab the camera/cellphone, take some pictures, not edit them, publish them.
I usually love both and I hope I'm back to writing posts soon. I could write a post, but it would only be about how much I dislike my current situation (who cares about that?).
I spent the last two days with crafting and thinking about how to decorate my room (I shouldn't have done any of these things). I came up with a few things.
Here are some details of my room...

A ball-flower I made today. Cutest ad ever.

 Books. LOVE the colors.

The Little Prince. From top: Stones. Daily journal. Q&A journal. Movie journal. Quote journal.

  Icosidodecahedrons at the ceiling.

Hope, I told you I know how to do it.

 More unpronounceable things. Love them.

Next to my bed. Stuff. Good advice. DFTBA. Don't Forget To Be Awesome.

All pictures taken with my cellphone. I need a new camera. My cellphone sometimes takes better pictures than my actual camera. Not a single one is edited (too lazy).

Have a nice rest of the week! :)

My Future Occupation

I know what I'm going to do in case of not finding a job: Do what I'm originally supposed to do.
Being a cowgirl!

Who does not love pictures from childhood? Definitely one of my favourite pictures :D

Don't let it fly away

Write down the thoughts of the moment. Those that come unsought for are commonly the most valuable.

Note #02: That's my brother.
Location: I forgot how this place is called! :( It's 30-40 (by car) away from my hometown...have to ask my mom...

Thank you for the rain

Also I really like umbrellas. It's like "I have a roof! I carry it with me!"...Umbrellas always amuse me.

My day started too late. Too late means 11:00 a.m., which is too late considering that I should have been at university at 8:30 and promised my mom to call her at 10:00.
After some soup for breakfast, lunch or whatever it was I went to university, because the internet decided not to work again and I had to do some homework online.
I was there for nearly two hours. Sitting in the hallway, freezing. I love old buildings, but they are not fun in the winter. And if you're wondering why I was sitting in the hallway: You can only sit in the hallways or on cold stairs or in the library. There are no rooms to go when you have to wait or just want to work...old building...really old.
I decided to go home and as a left the building I stood in the rain. Oh rain, how much do I love you?
I'm glad it's raining and not snowing. I do not like winter and can't wait for spring. And mild weather and rain are the first signs of spring.
I was so happy about the weather that I grabbed my camera and an umbrella and went to a park to take some pictures. The only thing I forgot: It's january, which means the day ends at 4:30 pm.
So I stood there in the dark. I was a bit disappointed and the pictures didn't turn out how I wanted.
But I'm happy. And that's the important thing.
And I finally have a reason to share this quote. Love it!

Location: Burggarten Vienna in front of a Mozart statue. The big building in the background is the Museum of Art History, the only museum I like. The road between the park and the museum is the Ringstraße, a circular road surrounding the first district of Vienna. The first district is the one with all the main tourist attractions...

Note #01: I write down the location to educate you bit... :)

Note #02: If the rain isn't heavy I usually don't use an umbrella. I went to the Burggarten without using the umbrella. I used it for the photos and went back to the underground station without it... ;)

Meet my new friends

You love sheep, don't you? I love them!
My friend Hannah came home for Christmas (she goes to a Bible school in Sweden) and today we spent the day outside. We went for a long walk and snuggled with the sheep :D

Say hello to Silvester. He's a cutie.

Awww! Aren't they cute? I'm not sure, but I think that's Silvester, Matilde and Miss Marple

Bye, bye! Hope to see you soon!

I wish you all a wonderful Christmas Eve. And because I'm not at home tomorrow:

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
or
FROHE WEIHNACHTEN!!! :D

My present for you: Some candy! Just a picture...not yours, all mine! Just kidding...I'll give my brothers and my parents one or two pieces :P
We put about 200 pieces (yes, 200!) of candy on our Christmas tree. That's how I love Christmas. ;)

Past

"Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending."

Maybe I should make this quote to my new year's resolution...

Big "Thank you!" to Shaynie, who found this quote.

autumn dreams

a dream

autumn

a perfect day

my favourite season
my favourite town
my favourite place

and dreams
in a hectic world
i'm a dreamer

i don't care that i'm not supposed to take a rest in this world

i take it anyway

and dream
(this guy walked around with a balloon...now you have to imagine: I saw this guy, grapped my camera and run behind him to get a picture...)

i'm not alone
but still i am.

If this sounds a bit like a poem: I'm sorry.

It's late after midnight.

Perfect time for deep thoughts ;)

All Saints' Day

I feel like I have to post pictures. I have so many pictures I want to share. Here are some of today. Today is All Saints' Day. We spent this day at my grandparents house and it was a lovely day, but way too warm for the first of november.
All Saints' Day has always been one of my favourite days during the year. One of the first days to wear a warm winter jacket and gloves. A day where you go to the cemetery and light candles for your dead relatives, trying not to slip because of all the wet leaves. A day to ask my parents who all these people were. One of the first days to eat chestnuts. A day full of fog...
Oh, I feel like an old woman talking about her childhood. ;)
Here are some pics. I took all pictures at my grandparents' house (except the last one). Enjoy!
And sorry for the bad quality. It's impossible to take good pictures with my camera when the light is bad :(

I love my grandparents' house, because you can find stuff I made in kindergarten everywhere ;)

A calendar we made for my grandparents years ago. My grandma still use it.
That's me by the way :)

I'd love to share a video with you, but...

Today I went for a walk and took my camera and my cell phone with me. I wanted to try the camera of my new cell phone and I ended up taking pictures ONLY with my phone. And I made some videos. At home I wanted to edit those videos and well, it's impossible. First I realised that all the videos were 3gp-files (never heard of 3gp before). I googled 3gp and found out that I have to convert them into avi or mp3 or something else if I want to edit them. I downloaded a free converter and converted the videos into avi. I tried to add the new avi-files to the editing program, but it didn't work. Obviously the converting program doesn't work well. After some time, after trying different editing programs and searching on the internet for a solution, I gave it up.
It's pity, because the weather was perfect for doing some videos and I really wanted to share them with you. But now all the videos are useless :(
Maybe I'm going to do the same thing with my real camera again...

Here are the pictures I took with my phone. The colours are shocking!

Anybody who remember this tree? Some early followers? Maybe Natalie?

Party...

Thank you for your comments on my last post. Honestly, I didn't expected that many comments. It was good to read your opinions and I hope it gets better soon...

Here are some pictures of Hannah's birthday-say-goodbye-party. We had so much fun and it would have been even more fun for me, if I hadn't had a terrible cold :(
Most of the pictures are quite blurry. As soon as I have some money left (haha, best joke ever!) I have to buy a new camera.

building groups to play ball. I didn't join the game because of my cold :(

Love this shot! Too sad that is that blurry. It's nearly impossible to take pictures of moving people with my camera. They all turn out blurry.

blurry, blurry, blurry

chatting

Hannah's dog. Cutest dog ever and one of the few dogs I'm not scared of. Yes, I'm afraid of dogs, but Hannah's dog is super cute! :)

Fooood! Yummie!

Bye Hannah, I'll miss you!
(okay, Hannah doesn't read my blog, but anyway... ;)
