Alarm...stop-motion

I'm in the middle of doing my Dutch homework. Something I do every Tuesday and Thursday night and by night I mean midnight. And as always I'm destracted by so many different things and I end up doing what I can do best: procrastinating.

And that's why I thoughts it's time to post a video. I worked on this video the whole day + last night. 

Stop-motion is something fascinating for me and after making this video it's even more fascinating. It's so much fun but also so much work. It took me more than a day to do a 3:30 minutes video and it is far away from perfect. How long does it take to make a whole stop-motion movie? ...

I made this video for J.B.Dazen's song Alarm. I love this song and as I mentioned someday before, he's my second favorite YouTube musician (after Tom Milsom). I hope you like it. 

One more thing. This video is finally public. All my other videos aren't listed on YouTube. This means more people can watch my videos now. I'm not sure yet what to think about that...but hey, I tweeted J.B.Dazen that I made a video for his song and now he asked me if I want to make some animated things for his actual upcoming music videos...now what to say about THAT? :)

I'm so happy that I'm creative again I really, really, really, really etc. hope that it stays like that forever. I had so much fun making this collage yesterday that I made another one today. And this time I filmed myself. 3 hours filming. But don't worry. This video here is speed up and only 4:24 min long.

I also put some background information at the end of the video. A bit about where the idea comes from and about the music I listened to.

I got all the things for the collage from movie and fashion magazines. Except the flower and butterfly paper that goes around the collage. I bought that today at an awesome paper store. And they also had space paper...with planets and stars and such stuff on it. I bought it... :) 

It's great that I have something I like doing. The only think I really loved doing recently was blogging :/ Now I have my collages and I hope to make many more.

Also no Tuesday outfit post (and no Tuesday post at all! Wow...I was super busy with my collage...). My room looked like that the whole day and it still looks like that...that's why I'm off tidying up my room (the not so fun part of being creative.)

Video Wednesday - Explosion of introverted weirdness

Today's video is...hm...it would be better if I don't say much about the video before you watched it. It wouldn't make a lot of sense. I would just pre-write your opinion. Please watch it first and then continue reading. Thanks.

Whatever you're thinking right now here's what I have to say about this video.
I got the idea to make a video like that while watching the music video to the song We Are Golden - MIKA (yes, there's a lot of MIKA going on in my life at the moment).
Does this video need an explanation? I'm not sure.
It pretty much describes my life. I'm an introvert. I live in my own world. I don't want people to talk to me. I can't talk to strangers. People scare me. That's how people know me and all these things, introvert-shy-anxious, keep me away from being my other me. The one who wouldn't have a problem with living her craziness. A thing I would really like to do.
But all in all I'm human like everyone else.



Note #01: The filming process contained a lot of clothes changing and "tripod" building (books, dvds, desk...)

Note #02: I almost usede everything I filmed. It was pretty easy to edit. I should do such videos more often. It was fun.

Note #02: Music used: New Earth - Tom Milsom (What a surprise, huh?), the cough is also by Tom Milsom, the music to the dancing part is We Are Golden - MIKA. I actually danced to this song and was surprised that the dancing still fit to the music after speeding it up...

English is easy - Video Wednesday

Video Wednesday is back! A video in which I talk a bit about why I think it's easier for people in Austria (and also many other countries) to learn English than other languages like French or Spanish.
I say in the video that it is "so easy to learn English" which is not that true. It does not mean that we don't have to do anything to get good and fluent. I'll talk about how I learned it so well in one of my next videos.

Video Wednesday - Antonia Gives Answers

It's wednesday. I love wednesdays, because I fell in love with making videos. I still suck a lot at it, but every time I make another video I learn something new.
This weeks is a Q&A. Thanks so much for all your questions. I got so many and it was fun to answer them.
There are two questions I haven't answered.

One question was what my favorite books are and I didn't answer this question, because it's one of these questions I refuse to answer ever since I can remember. It's just impossible to answer.

The second question was how I learned English so well. The reason for not answering this question is that I want to make a separate video about me+English. I have a lot to say about this and it wouldn't have fit into this Q&A.

I know the video is a bit long...and I'm out of focus sometimes...thanks you my camera :/

Video Wednesday - Schönbrunn cuteness

Note #01: I overused the word cute.

Note #02: If you think I sound exhausted in the video, that's because I was exhausted. I get easily exhausted, because I don't do any sports.

Note #03: The previous squirrel attack: Here.

Note #04: My camera is crap. I charged the camera before I went to Schönbrunn and it was almost dead when I went home (after filming for less than 20 min). I also lost quite a lot of footage. My camera stops recording when you shake it (just a little bit) or move it too fast...

Note #05: Schönbrunn is much more prettier in spring/summer/autumn. It looks a bit boring when everything's brown.

Note #06: Look at the tree behind me at like 3:04 - squirrel! (there are so many of them - they are cute and evil)

Note #07: Maybe it's just me, but when I watch this videos there are parts where I just think "Oh look how arrogant I am." (I'm not...)

Video Wednesday - a vlog about blog ideas

I have some ideas for my blog and because today is Video Wednesday (explained in the video) I did a vlog instead of writing a blog post.
Accent lovers, here you have a 3 minute portion of finest German accent! (Oh, how much do I want to get rid of it!)
It's poorly edited and there are too many "um"s and "erm"s in it. I have never noticed that I say um so often. Vlogging is great, you learn about your own bad habits. ;)
