I watched Friends the other day (what a surprise) and it made me smile when I saw this:
Austrian candy (Manner) in Central Perk! I was pretty excited.
I'll pick the first Disney or Pixar movie tomorrow. I got excited about this whole thing while reading your comments. I have no idea what I can get at the library, but we'll see.
It's sad that I don't watch that many movies anymore. It's May and I've only seen 20 movies in 2011. That's nothing.
But I watched Friends 1 to 6. I'm in the middle of Season 7. I love it.
RiaRamona's comment at my last post made me laugh. Why I should watch Disney movies: "They'd be great for you, I think, since you usually blog about hardcore movies." I've never seen it that way...
I watched Veronika Decides To Die with my mom today. Great movie. And great book (by Paulo Coelho).
I should finish East of Eden today. This is not going to happen...maybe tomorrow morning.
Other things, not movie-related:
I'm going to get my hair cut tomorrow. Just a bit.
Life's getting up and down again. The weather makes me happy. That's so wrong and also so good.
I should go and do some Dutch homework.
1,5 month left until summer break.
It's too hot here.
Still no ideas for 2 years OutsideIntoLife. It's driving me crazy.

That's funny. After commenting that, I thought about it myself. I watch too many Disney stuff since my goal usually in watching movies is to have fun, not think too much. (It's with the books that I choose deeper material - say classics.) So I decided to watch a "deep" movie. I saw The Social Network like maybe 2 nights ago, and it was so cool! Andrew Garfield and Jesse (sp) Eisenberg are awesome actors. So maybe I'll be on the lookout for hardcore movies. Haha. My uncle has a Pirates oF the Caribbean DVD set, so I guess I'll start with that, but not too soon since I'm reviewing for my SATs. :) Man, my comments can get quite long. Haha.

Natalie: No, it's not really hot. It's more just me who think it's already too hot ;) It's about 80°F here. How hot it gets? Hm...maybe 90°F or a bit hotter? I don't know. Too hot in my opinion. I'm sensitive when it comes to heat and sun. I get headaches when there's too much sunshine and I feel sick etc. I prefer spring weather :)
I guess I always watch "hardcore" movies too. Last night I was supposed to be watching The Changling but it turned out to be Iron Man (stupid Dish Network guide) so I watched it anyway. I was a little bummed about it not being TC but I really enjoyed IM so whatevs. :) Oh, I love East of Eden! Is this your first time watching it? Did you like it? :)
ReplyDeleteHope: I ended up not finishing East of Eden. It was too long and I was tired. I have to try it again some day. I have big problems getting through old, long movies. I don't know how I get through Giant, but I did ;)
