10 things I have to do before I die.

day 13 - ten things I have to do before I die

1. Fall in love, get the love back, live in a relationship,...
2. Travel to the US and go at least to New York City and Washington State
3. Meet Hope, Shaynie and Kinsey
4. Learn more about the stars and astronomy
5. Learn a third language fluently
6. Get invited to a fashion show (New York, Paris or Milan). Haha.
7. Meet John Green (again) and Hank Green
8. Have a room in my house/apartment with bookshelves full of books (of course) along the walls
9. Dye my hair in an unnatural haircolor, I'd prefer blue
10. Get a great idea, make my idea into things, open an Etsy shop to sell these things

Yes, I'm still doing this challenge. I like this challenge, it just takes me forever to finish it...

where are all the boys?

I'm a bit behind with my 17 Day Challenge. I'm going to continue it with Day 10 and skip Day 9. I'll do Day 9 soon when I'm bored enough to fight with YouTube and my stupid laptop who doesn't like the internet. Blah.

day 10 - share ten random favorite photos.

10 pictures I recently reblogged on my Tumblr.

This was harder than expected...hm...

about the title of this post: hehe.

Celebrity Crushes...sigh...

day 08 - share pictures of five of your celebrity crushes.

When I think about crushes I have a big smile on my face. How awesome are crushes? This feeling when your heart is melting when you see a picture of this one guy (or two or three or...). A deep *sigh* when you can't stop staring at him and forget everything around you. When you get a little heart attack of excitement when he appears in a movie or somewhere else and you didn't expected him to be there. Exactly, crushes are great. (As long as they're normal crushes. Teenage girls screaming and fainting in front of Justin Bieber are not normal...just saying)

Sadly (yes sadly) I don't have celebrity crushes very often. And when I have one it usually doesn't last for long.
It happens like once or twice a year that I have a bigger crush and I currently have one. Oh, yeah. What a rare moment.
When I told Lena two months ago that I have a crush on someone she almost considered that I'm probably normal after all (she tells me on a regular basis that I'm weird...)
Now here's my current crush. Who isn't a celebrity. Let me introduce you to my favorite model of all time.

Cole Mohr.

It's time for a *sigh*

I struggled a while with this post. I don't like it to talk about crushes and guys and things like that. (this is one of these moments where Lena would say I'm weird...sigh...)

places i want to visit

I know, I skipped day 6, but I really don't want to blog about actors and movies. I do that often enough and it it's a bit boring to talk about that over and over again. Short version: I have tons of favorite movies, my favorite actor is Johnny Depp because he's awesome and I don't have any other favorite actors or actresses. Yes, like I said at Day 1 "I tend to like nothing"

Day 07 - Share 5 places you'd like to visit

In no particular order.

Hay-on-Wye (Wales/Great Britain)
Because they have books on the street.
{via Wikipedia}

New York
Because it's New York
{via Wikipedia}

London
Because I've already been there and I can't get enough
{my picture...}

Paris
Because it's the only place in France I'd LOVE to visit (and I want to go to the Louvre and walk past Mona Lisa without looking at it)
{via.}

Cliffs of Moher (Ireland)
Because I love me some nice cliffs

my favorite tv shows

Day 05 - what are five of your favorite tv shows that are currently airing? that have been canceled?

Talking about tv shows is a bit difficult for me, because I don't watch tv. And when I say that I don't watch tv I mean that word by word. I haven't watched tv the last ~2 years (except when I had to do it for some reasons like to be nice or if I wanted to talk to someone who was watching tv...). I don't need television.
So I can't talk about what shows I like that are currently airing/have been canceled, because I have no idea what shows are currently airing.
But I do watch tv shows sometimes, but not on tv. I either buy them on DVD (which is quite expensive) or watch them on YouTube, but I always feel bad when I watch tv series on YouTube. When it comes to music and movies I'm such a good person. I always feel terrible when I watch something online or download music for free. Most of the time such things aren't even legal and I don't do illegal stuff.
Anyway...here are some of the tv shows I watch and love and how I found them.

1. Friends

I started watching this show because Hope blogged/talked a lot about it and she loves it. I gave it a try and fell in love. I have Season 1-7 on DVD and I'm in the middle of Season 7.

2. The Big Bang Theory

I found TBBT through this video on YouTube. I liked the theme song of the show and checked it out on YouTube. I loved the clips I saw there and decided to buy Season 1. I got Season 2 for Christmas and I can't wait to get and watch Season 3. I love this series.

3. Freaks and Geeks

Freaks and Geeks is one of the best tv shows ever. I don't understand why they canceled this show after one season (and they didn't even show all episodes of the season on tv!). I found this show through the blog Style Rookie. So glad I found it.

4. Sabrina the Teenage Witch

Sabrina the Teenage Witch is something I always liked. I remember watching it when I was 9 or 10 years old. I kinda forgot about it. Then 2 years ago Lena told me that she's watching Sabrina from the first to the last episode and I started to watch it too. I haven't seen an episode in a while and I've never finished all seasons, but I love it.

These are pretty much the only tv shows I know. I don't watch any of them at the moment. I want to finish Friends over the summer (when I have the money), but I haven't seen an episode in like 2 months.
Back in the times where I watched tv I liked to watch Desperate Housewives every now and then. And I was a big The Simpsons fan for a long time (I also liked Futurama). And I've seen some episodes of Gilmore Girls. And a bit of Two and a Half Men, Private Practice, Scrubs and Grey's Anatomy because my brothers likes these kind of series and I hate them.

One more thing. I'd love to watch Doctor Who. But they are way to expensive to buy and I think they don't show it on tv (and they would be in German...and German sucks when it comes to movies/shows) and as I said before I feel uncomfortable watching such things online. So I'll never see Doctor Who :(

I don't own the pictures in this post.

trust

day 04 - write about trust. do you trust easily? do others trust you? what do you do if someone breaks your trust?

I don't trust easily. There are only a few people in my life I trust. I have a hard time to trust strangers and that's a big problem sometimes.
I don't know how many people trust me. I don't know many people and I don't have many friends. I would say people I trust also trust me.
I know that my friends trust me.
I don't think anyone has ever broken my trust. Only some small, irrelevant things.
What I would do? I don't know. Probably be angry and then forget about it and carry on.

a challenge

I'm back /more about what I did while I was away later) and I thought it would be fun to join Hope with her challenge she's doing on her blog at the moment. It's a 17 days challenge and I think challenges are good to re-start blogging after a while.
Hope started it three days ago, that's why I'm going to post Day 1-3 here to catch up with her. You can find the list of things we're going to post about here.

Day 1 - seven things that sum me up as a person

  1. I'm scared of strangers, I don't like them and I can't talk to them
  2. I don't have the ability of smalltalk
  3. I'm a good listener
  4. I tend to like nothing
  5. I tend to ignore people
  6. I love to help people who are important to me
  7. I'm skeptical and I like to criticize

Day 2 - my faith

I believe in God.
That's all I can say about my faith. Everything else is undefined and not clear. I never know what to believe and I think it will always be like that.

Day 3 - ten likes and dislikes

Likes

  1. sitting against the direction of travel in trains or the subway. Some people say that they get sick when they sit against the driving direction, but I prefer it that way. It's much better to get pulled than pushed (if that makes any sense to you...)
  2. sitting at the open window at night. Looking at the stars, breathing in the fresh air, hearing the wind blowing through our giant cherry tree next to my window, listening to the night. It's magical. I do that a lot when the air is good and when there are many stars visible. Also in the winter when I have to put on two pullovers and three pairs of socks and cuddle into some blankets. I love it.
  3. journaling about the birthdays of fictional characters. I always remember the birthdays of my favorite characters I've created. It was Tim's birthday this Monday. He's 21 now....I'm weird...
  4. renaming names of subway stations or town names. Sometimes I shorten them, sometimes I give them English names...they all have other names in my head and I often think of them by the new name and I have to be careful not to say those names out loud instead of the real name. I don't want people to think that I'm crazy (is this possible?)
  5. going to museums. I love museums. Sometimes I don't care much about the art that's on exhibit, sometimes I prefer to look at how the whole exhibition is put together, how they worked with the light etc. And sometimes I go to old museums and stare at the beautiful architecture of the building.
  6. walking through the inner city of Vienna just to look at tourists and overhear some conversations and smile and laugh inside about how funny/ridiculous/strange/adorable they are.
  7. criticizing. It's not that I criticize everything all day long, but I like to criticize things like art, I can be extremely skepitical, rude, bitchy, whatever when it comes to art. And I love to criticize things people have written. I don't if you know that but I wrote myself for a long time and I went on writing camps in the summer. And important part of these camps was critique. And I loved it to criticize other people's stories. I'm not going on these camps anymore and I miss the critique. Oh, and I'm not a person who gives a lot of positive critique, which doesn't mean, that I didn't like the text. I think you always criticize the way you like to receive critique yourself and I can't stand it to get only positive critique. Once I said something nice about a girl's story because I absolutely loved it and she came up to me afterwards and said that she has never heard me saying something positive about a text before...um...yeah...
  8. smelling books. I love to smell books, also magazines, news paper, paper in general. I also smell books at book stores. I can't resist. It's impossible.
  9. heist movies. When a movie is about stealing stuff, you can be sure that I'll love it. Suggestions?
  10. Nutella.

Dislikes:
  1. people chewing chewing gum in front of me. It drives me nuts when you can hear them chewing and their mouthes open and close all the time.
  2. talking on the phone
  3. useless critique/feedback. When I give someone something to read and want to know what he/she thinks about it I don't want to hear "Love it" or "That's good". Which leads to...
  4. people who never say their honest opinion and always try to be nice because they are scared to hurt someone or fear to lose a friendship etc. You can be honest without hurting someone. And people have to learn how to deal with critique.
  5. nepotism/cronyism
  6. when people eat smelly food on the train
  7. bus rides
  8. bad internet connections
  9. driving. It's more a love-hate relationship. I like driving deep inside. And I'd like to go on a road trip through the US.
  10. mushrooms

ps: I hope to film and edit my Q&A soon...
