My second favorite YouTube musician wants to help me with my Dutch!

About an hour ago I watched this video at YouTube. It's called Alarm by J.B.Dazen.

I love this song and I love J.B.Dazen's music. He's most likely my second favorite YouTube musician (after Tom Milsom). So I tweeted it. I left the room for a while and when I came back I was about to go to bed and wanted to turn off the laptop when I saw this. (Note: hexachordal is Tom Milsom's Twitter and YouTube username)

AHHHH! J.B.Dazen retweeted me!! I think everyone who has Twitter knows the feeling when someone you think is awesome replies to your tweet or retweets you.
And he didn't just retweet. He retweeted AND replied. Here's what he wrote:

Let's say I was pretty excited. I wrote back and we started a nice conversation. Which went like that:

To sum it up. J.B.Dazen, my second favorite YouTube musician, retweeted me, replied to my tweet, had a nice little chat with me, first in English, then in Dutch and he offered to help me if I have problems with Dutch (that's what he says in the last tweet)!
Wow.
I can't believe it.
Now I can go to bed all happy to get up tomorrow wit the song Alarm in my head to be ready for my Dutch lesson :)

That's how I am inside...

I'm shy. I really am and I don't like it, because inside I'm a bit crazy and silly. And there is something I would love to do, but I'm not brave enough. I would love to start dancing in random places.
Sometimes I'm at a clothes store or some other public place and they are playing music and I like the song and I'm getting really excited, because I want to dance! Now! Do you know that?

Watch this video. That's exactly what I would like to do sometimes. That's how I am inside. Silly ;)
Oh, and also look at the people in the store. I love their reactions and I love how one of the guys starts dancing for a second :D

Have a lovely monday!

Project for Awesome

Today's the day of Project for Awesome. What's the Project for Awesome?
In one sentence: Project for Awesome is when people on YouTube post videos about charities.

It's an annual project on YouTube found by the Vlogbrothers John and Green Hank. I think it is an awesome thing (of course it is, there is the word "awesome" in the project's name :P), because people are doing something GOOD on YouTube (I'm sure everybody knows how much rubbish you can find on YouTube) and you can learn about great charities.

I know, many of you are not that into YouTube like I am and I can't force you to head over to YouTube and watch videos about charities all day (that's what I'm going to do ;) ), but I want to share some of the videos with you. Please take a few minutes and watch these videos. Maybe I'll post some more later. The project started a few hours ago and there are new videos coming every other minute.

Even though you don't have much money to donate for charity it is important to watch these videos and learn more about organisations out there. It is important to know. Maybe one day you have enough money and you'll come back to the charities and help them. It could also happen, that you'll be thankful for those charities one day, because they helped YOU or one of your family members or friends. There are so many reasons why we should care about charities.

The first video I want to share with you is about a charity called Triangles of Truth. It's a charity that helps victims of genocides and honors victims of the Holocaust.
You can check out there website HERE
And PLEASE watch this video!

The second video is about Cancer Research. I'm quite sure that almost everybody knows somebody who has cancer, had cancer or even died of cancer.
This video is so good! You have to watch it...

Thanks to everybody who read this post and watched the videos.
Feel free to head over to Youtube and check out some more videos about charities. Type in "Project for Awesome 2010" or "p4a 2010" and you'll find more videos.

I waited and waited and...that's ME!

It's two o'clock in the morning. I'm still awake, because I waited for a video to be uploaded to Youtube.
As you all already know I went to this event with John Green, the author and YouTuber, who failed to sign my book.
Youtuber. Yes. Videos.
He and his brother make videos every monday, wednesday and friday and they are just awesome and hilarious.
Aaand. John made one about Vienna!
Here it is! Pay attention (I had to check the spelling of attention in the dictionary! Lame...! Antonia, go to bed!) at the very beginning of the video.
Yeah, that's me in the beginning. The one with the pink cardigan :)

I love this video.
It's strange to see all these places where I walk several times a week. Seeing the balloon man and the dance group and the streets and awww! Vienna! I love you!
But I've never realised that there are that many stone babies...I haven't noticed a single one...I have to find them...
Enjoy the video!

And I need sleep. Only four hours, but at least it's sleep. Sigh...

Day 11 - comfort songs.

Songs that I listen to when I'm happy, sad, bored, hyped, and mad.

I couldn't decide which songs I should share with you. But suddenly I had an idea. Maybe you've already noticed that I'm around YouTube a lot and on YouTube there are many talented musicians. Now I'm going to share you five songs from YouTube musicians!

Random choice:

Happy: Best Spot in the Lot - Nice Peter (I don't like it that they put this "the best party ever" stuff at the end of the video. Just stop watching after the song is over ;) (you don't want to see this stuff, trust me))

Sad: The World is Mine - Alex Day

Bored: My Hope - Molly Lewis. It's a song about Myspace. She should write the same song about Facebook ;)

Hyped: A Song about an Anglerfish - Hank Green. Watching Hank Greens videos helped me to understand fast spoken American English ;)

Mad: can't think of one...

Now I have to go and learn words for tomorrows Swedish lesson. I want to sleep! :( Antonia, stop procrastinating! Go, study those words!

Jag studerar Svenska. ;)

Bye!!!

I love cello!

It's time for some YouTube awesomeness!
I love cello and would love to have cello lessons. One day...maybe...
Here is something I found on YouTube. I spend to much time on YouTube, but there are many talented people around...

I'll tell you more about my week tomorrow. And some pictures.
Have a lovely day!
