I feel like I haven't posted in ages...which turned out to be three days...
According to this dramatical fact I'm going to do another random post, because
1. I like random things
2. I have nothing else to post about
3. I like lists :)
a. I purchased the first season of Friends today and I love it! Favorite characters so far: Phoebe and Chandler.
b. It was 100% clear that I'm going to love Chandler. He is so full of sarcasm and if you haven't noticed yet: I love sarcasm (something many Austrian people do...)
c. I met some interesting people today. I could also call them strange or weird, but maybe they aren't weird. I don't know their personality, so I call them interesting.
d. On my way to university in the morning there were about three women (they didn't know each other...at least I think so) on the underground train. They were all around 60 with blonde hair, make-up and silver shiny coats and white high heels and long finger nails and ??? I was confused (as so often)
e. When I went shopping to get my Friends DVD in the afternoon I realised that most of the people in the DVD section of shops are interesting looking men such as one guy with an eye patch (not kidding) between 30 and 40. I felt a bit uncomfortable.
f. I never meet people I know while I go around Vienna or go shopping or whatever. NEVER! But today I met one of my flat mates at the bookstore and one guy from my Dutch class in a different bookstore.
g. Just realised that I'm writing in the HTML
h. I think I could write a whole post about weird things going on in our apartement...a post like "You know you live in a university student's apartement...". It is really strange.
i. I went to the library today and again I have to say that I don't like Vienna's libraries. I don't want to go to libraries and feel like I'm at the wrong place. That's how I felt. I wanted to leave...IMMEDIATELY!
j. There are several things I always check at a bookstore or a library I haven't been before: I check if they have John Green books or/and Maureen Johnson books. I check out the English books section. And I always check out the history books. Don't know why.
k. The library I went today had ONE John Green book (Paper Towns) and not a single Maureen Johnson book. Where am I? The only Maureen Johnson book I've ever seen was at the library in my hometown! My hometown has around 6000 inhabitants and there is a John Green book and a Maureen Johnson book at the library and in Vienna, where over a million people live it's impossible to find a Maureen Johnson book? What's wrong?
Um...I'm sure most of you don't care about that fact. But I DO!
l. I watched too many elmify videos today. I can feel it. And if you watch elmify on YouTube you can probably feel that too.
m. It's so quiet! (it's 01:30 am)
n. Oh, it snowed yesterday and that's not good.
o. Can't wait for spring. I want to go to Linz so bad and write a post about it! Salzburg would also be a nice thing, but it's a bit far away.
p. I should post more important things.
q. I'm also thinking about doing a blogger/internet break. I feel like it is kind of necessary. I have several reasons. The last time I was off the computer for more than one day was in July when I was in the nowhere of Denmark!
r. I just calculate how many YouTube videos would be in my subscription box after a week without watching YouTube videos. I guessed how many videos they would upload and the number is 87! This means that I would spend a whole day watching YouTube videos after a one week break. Is that really a good idea?
s. The new YouTube layout confuses me! A lot!
t. My new journal. It's awesome!
u. "Indians? We are in Kenya!" - my Dutch teacher today. Nobody was talking about Indians and no, I didn't move to Kenya.
v. Wisdom teeth surgery - next week - don't want it!
w. There is a skillet lying on my bed.
x. I try to get from British English to American English. It counfuses me all the time. That's why I'm going to write favorite instead of favourite from now on...or not. Still like the u...
y. I use a mug (is this British or American?) for everything. I have a big mug and I used it to eat pasta today. I also used it for scrambled eggs the other day...and of course milk and tea...soup...everything. Love my mug :)
z. I'm going now. It's 02:12 and it took me an hour to write this post. Bye! And next time hopefully a bit more about ? About what?
YAY! Girl, I love Phoebe and Chandler, they're my favorites too. I catch myself acting like Phoebe all the time. It's crazy. Haha! Love this post!! SO awesome and random! =D

Hmm... I don't know is mug is British, but I know here in the states at almost every coffee shop they use the word mug, as do I. Good luck with the wisdom teeth! I'll pray all goes well with it :D
ReplyDeleteChandler is my favorite! He's just awesome. :) "Interesting" people in book stores.. haha! I loved this post. :) Oh I hope your wisdom teeth removal goes well and you get over it quickly (I had it a few years ago :/).
ReplyDeleteThe link to the journal isn't working.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see "University Student" apartment post. ;) :D
Kinsey: Haha, thanks! Phoebe is awesome. I would like to be like her...um...not really, maybe a bit. A mixture of Phoebe and Chandler :D
ReplyDeleteNatalie: Thanks!
Hope: Yeah, interesting people are interesting. I should write down some thoughts every time I meet someone interesting. I don't want to forget people like the one with the eye patch ;)
Shaynie: How did that happen? It should work now :)
I admit, I'm curious about the skillet...
