Antonia, here is the answer regarding the question you left on my blog. Here in America, we catagorize school years in to grades. First grade is 6 year olds (some 7 year olds, it depends on if they were born later in the autumn) second grade is 7 years olds, etc. Grades 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th are the final years of schooling for kids and are in order acording to age. 9th-14 yr. 10th-15yr 11th-16yr and 12th-18 yr. Did I totally confuse you? I hope not! Anyway, age varies a little depending on when you were born but you always do all the grades. What about where you live?
