I LOVE this movie! I love Hitchcock movies and this one is my favourite.

Norman Bates is an amazing character and I LOVE the famous Psycho house. I would definitely buy it and I don't care that there is a dead woman sitting in the basement :P

And to be honest, Anthony Perkins was a handsome guy ;) I haven't seen any other movie with Anthony Perkins...any suggestions?

And watch the trailer. It is almost as hilarious as the "The Birds" trailer

You just have to read the comments. Many people love this movie. So do I! It's brillant and I'm a bit like Jeff. I love observing my neighbours and people in general. One of my neighbours once carried a dead body in a plastic bag across the parking lot...wait...no, not really, that's just what I thought for a minute (I REALLY thought that). Poor neighbour! ;)

If you haven't seen this movie you should definitely watch it!

Why I chose this scene? There are a lot of scenes like this one in the movies, but I love Stella's face and Jeff is like "Mmmh...chicken..."

How this movie found its way into my header:

I watched this movie in february or march 2010. The first half of this year was a hard time for me. I watched this movie in this hard time and I felt so much better after watching it. Of course, it didn't solve any of my problems, but it helped me to smile and be happy again (at least for a couple days).

Benny and Joon became one of my favourite movies and it means a lot for me.

I chose this scene, because Sam (played by Johnny Depp) has this "Help Wanted" sign in his hand. He has it in his hand, because the shop wanted help, but it looks like if Sam needs help. Actually both is true. That's why I find this scene interesting and it is how I felt in february.

BTW: All the pictures in my header are screenshots I did while watching the movies.

Christmas GIVEAWAY! - The rules!

It's christmas time and christmas means (not only, but also) presents and presents means GIVEAWAY!!!

The rules of this giveaway are a tiny bit complicated, which means that you have to do a bit more than just telling me, that you would love to win ;)

But first I want you to show you what you can win.

• a small Moleskine Plain Journal (because everybody loves Moleskine)
• a bookmark which says "Wintermärchen" (because it's German and I'm from Austria - Wintermärchen means "winter fairytale")
• and some star-shaped paper-clips (because they are cute and it's christmas)

As I said, the rules are a bit complicated.

The first thing you have to do is visiting my movie blog - LINK!

A few days ago I asked if someone can tell me from which movies I took the pictures in my header (the movie blog header).

I got two comments on the post and it was like I expected it. Nobody seems to know these movies. Except one - Atonement (top right of the header).

You are wondering what my movie blog header has to do with this giveaway?

A LOT!

There are 10 pictures in the header. One picture is already guessed, which means there are 9 "unknown" pictures left.

What I want you to do is to find out from which movies these pictures are. But not all at the same time.

How it works:

1. We'll start with the picture at the top left.
2. You always have TWO days to guess the picture.
3. Every second day, I'll post the picture you have to guess in a larger format, so that it is easier to recognise (maybe ;))
4. With the picture I'll also give you some hints. I'll give you some information about the movie. For example which actors it's starring, which awards the movie won, if it is based on a book, etc.
   I'll try to give you good hints, because I WANT you to find out which movie it is. Of course, you have to search at google, wikipedia or imdb a bit, but you won't need any other pages. You can also ask family members or friends.
5. To tell me what you think, just leave a comment to the post with the current picture.
6. Only guess once per picture!
7. You can leave your guess as long as I haven't published the next picture.
8. As soon as there is a new picture, you can't leave a guess on an older one.

Every time you guessed right you get an entry for the giveaway. That means that you can get 

9 ENTRIES 

if you guess them all right!!!
