comeback.

I survived the first week of university. Yay! A few days ago I tried to find what I wrote about my university start last year...and couldn't find anything. What? How did that happen? I wrote about so much things, but not about university?
Well, okay. Let's talk about university now.

My start was way better than expected. When I went there on Monday I expected it to be like last year. For those of you who don't know it, university was awful last year. It was okay in the beginning and got worse every day. I couldn't fit in, couldn't make any friends (I tried, but nothing worked out) and I didn't like my courses.
This week I had university twice. Monday and Friday. And it was great.
And the most important thing is that I think that I found a new friend. A friend in real life! Oh my gosh! This hasn't happened in ages.
We went to our lectures together and spent the time between the lectures together and it was fun.
It's such a good feeling to talk to someone. This first week was better than the whole last year. Seriously!

Our courses are okay-ish. Most of them are really interesting and I'm love with the book we have to read. I'm only at page 25, but I love it. It's so good and interesting.
And then there is this architecture course which is beyond boring and I tried my best not to fall asleep. I didn't fall asleep, but Marie (my new friend) almost did. I hope it will be better next week. Otherwise this course is going to be really tough.

What else is new? The weather! We finally got fall weather. September was too warm (in my opinion). Now we have fall, and it didn't just get colder all of the sudden. No. This would have been too boring. On Thursday it was nice and warm and on Friday it was cold and it rained all day long and I had to run around Vienna in shoes that aren't waterproof. Awful. I have to buy new shoes. I don't have shoes for cold and wet weather.

I'm looking forward to next week. I'm going to visit one of my best friends who studies in Linz (the one whose mom died recently). I haven't seen her in a while and I want to know how she's doing.

And the week after is my birthday. I'm turning 20. Yeah! It's sort of cool. Only sort of...but it is.

I hope that I get back into regular blogging soon. I miss to document everything I'm doing. It feels weird.
And as always, I hope to write all the emails I keep promising people. I shouldn't promise to do stuff. I never do what I tell myself that I'm going to do. To-do lists and such things don't work for me.
Yes, I'm a terrible friend.

I'm off now...reading that awesome book about paintings.
