I got up today, sat down in front of my parents' computer, opened mozilla, visited my blog and BAM! What's that! What happened with my blog design?
Same with Internet Explorer.
Same with my cell phone!
But not with my laptop. I'm super confused.
Now I'm worried that you guys have seen the wrong fonts ALL THE TIME! So please help!

That's how it should look like. Please say that it looks like that!!!!
That's Chrome, it looks the same with Mozilla Firefox...
That's how it looks with Mozilla at my parents' PC.

Please let me know how it looks with your laptop/PC. I don't want it to be messed up at every other computer. I want to find a solution for this problem.

ReplyDeleteI pulled up your blog in Chrome, Mozilla, IE8, and Safari and it looks normal in all of them like in the first picture.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that you are running Windows 7 and your parents are running XP (right?) so it could have something to do with your parents' OS not being able to support the web fonts on your blog. I'll take a look at in on my parents computer in a little bit and tweet you about what I see.

ReplyDeleteIt's so weird how it does that. For about three days my layout had a big gray bar across the bottom depending on what computer I used. I'm pretty sure it went away, but you just never know with stupid Blogger!

ReplyDeleteOn the computer I'm on now, I have Windows 7 and I see the first option. I checked it on our computer with XP, and I saw the second one. Like Hope said, I think it probably has something to do with the different operation systems.
On my PC (and Internet Explorer) it looks like the third one.

I've got Windows 7, and see the first option (in IE8). I recently read an article on this problem, but now I can't seem to find it... if I remember right, it has to do with whether or not the viewer has that font on their computer, or supports web fonts. There is a way that you can change the type of file the font is so that it works for all browser types, but I don't know specifics. I'll try and find that article again...
